    Rare Mexican / Aztec Mayan Wood And Stone Chess Set 35 Pieces Plus Board. The board is made of stone and wood.  It does not fold.  The wood frame has some marring and imperfections from use.  The board itself has spots where the surface has come off.  I would assume this is from normal use. The back of the board has masking tape around the edges and there is a seam.  The board measure approximately 20" X 20" X 1".
    This set is a must have for any chess collector!
    The chess pieces are one of a kind, very elaborate and exquisitely detailed.  The pieces show significant wear and imperfections.  For example, one of the ivory queens is missing her nose. Please see the pictures for detail.  If you would like any additional pictures, I am happy to provide them via a message.
    One of the green bishops is missing from the set.
    The pawns stand approximately 3" tall.
    The knights stand approximately 3 1/2" tall.
    The rooks stand approximately 3 1/8" tall.
    The bishops stand between 3 1/2" & 3 3/4" tall.
    The Queens stand approximately 4 1/4" tall.
    The Kings stand approximately 4 1/2" tall.
    Condition is "Used".
