VERY RARE 1961 Ganine Tournament Edition Classic Chess Set 1494 Star Trek

For sale is an Extremely RARE 1961 Ganine Tournament Edition Classic Chess Set #1494.  It is the same as the Star Trek Set but with added weighted bases making the pieces much taller and more inspiring.  This particular set is much more rare and harder to find than the smaller 1494 set.  Almost a once in a lifetime find.
Apparently there weren't many of these sets made so this is a rare opportunity to aquire one.  They just dont pop up very often.
Ive had this set for many many years and its time to let some other lucky person enjoy it for many years now.
Sad to see it go really.
As for the condition:
All 32 pieces are all there, complete, and in great condition.   Ive inspected each piece and there are, No cracks, chips, or breaks.
The box itself has age appropriate storage wear for 60 years and some tape on the front.  The two inner boxes are in much better condition.   Tried to picture that.
Note: I would entertain any reasonable offer if you want to write me, but please don't low ball me, I am fair and easy to deal with.  Had to have a starting price.  Think it over.
