VTG MATCHING PAIR LUSTERWARE W/ RED BIRD - MARK #56 MADE IN JAPAN WALL POCKETS

Description

Up for auction is a vintage matching pair of ceramic or porcelain wall pockets marked on the back in red letters Made In Japan.  The wall pockets are a lusterware with a red bird and flowers set in a blue background with orange and black top.  My book does not know the maker but says it is mark #56 with two TT in Diamonds symbol, probably made between the late 1940's to the late 1950's.  The wall pockets are 6" long and 4 1/4" from scroll handle to scroll handle.  There are NO chips cracks or repairs, I am not sure they were ever used, if so, not much.  I know these will be very rare additions to vintage wall pocket collection, please view my other auctions for more unique items.
